Cologne, 19 August 2026 — BE Software GmbH of Cologne and PrismaNote have signed a partnership agreement covering the continued support and future of BE Software's OPAL customers. PrismaNote has been selected as the future-proof successor to OPAL for hundreds of jewellers and goldsmiths in Germany and Austria.
With this partnership, BE Software and PrismaNote combine their knowledge and experience in the jewellery trade. BE Software has more than 30 years of experience in software for jewellers and goldsmiths. PrismaNote is already active in Germany and Austria and offers a modern cloud platform covering POS, sales, inventory management, CRM, repairs, purchasing and e-commerce.
A deliberate choice for PrismaNote
When selecting a future-proof successor, both modern technology and a deep understanding of the specific processes in the jewellery trade were essential requirements for BE Software.

The partnership does not mean OPAL customers have to migrate in the short term. Nothing changes overnight. Customers will be informed about the possibilities in an appropriate way and can then be guided through the move to PrismaNote whenever they are ready.
BE Software staff remain closely involved in supporting customers. PrismaNote handles the technical migration and takes over the software and support once the move is complete.
From proven trade knowledge to modern cloud technology
With PrismaNote, jewellers gain access to an integrated cloud platform that brings key business processes together. Alongside POS and sales, the platform covers inventory management, CRM, repair management, purchasing and e-commerce.
PrismaNote is continuously developed further and offers scope for additional automation and the use of AI in retail processes. The trade knowledge BE Software has built up over more than 30 years with OPAL is a valuable addition.
